Krochet Kids International

0

Um, you probably don’t need me to tell you that it is absolutely freezing outside!!! But, I bet you may not be as prepared for this cold snap as you would have hoped! Enter one of our newest lines to your rescue: Krochet Kids International. It’s a line of hand-crocheted hats and beanies that will keep you warm through these arctic December days. Plus, it’s a really great company, so you can rest easy knowing that you’re money is going towards a good cause. Krochet Kids International is a non-profit organization who work along Ugandan nationals to provide economic development and hope for a group of ten women. Each one of the hats are hand-made by one of the women (you can see who crocheted your hat on the inside care tag!), and the proceeds of the sales go back into the community in which they were made. KKI aims to create a cycle of empowerment and sustainable economic development for individuals in impoverished nations. You can help by purchasing beanies, either for yourself or as gifts this holiday season! Also, spread the word! More information? http://krochetkids.org/home.php and http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20780105 for an article about the cause!
